This year there will be two categories for scholarship considerations (each will require a separate consideration).
The two available scholarships are the following:
- General Scholarship - 3 scholarships in recognition of scholastic achievement and involvement
- Conference Travel Scholarship - multiple awards up to $1,000 until funds are exhausted
The application review will be based on a variety of inputs, primarily the short essay and involvement in UCSB organizations. As KSI is a medical device company, preference may be shown to students working in areas related to Karl Storz’s workplace/industry, such as Biomedical Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Applied Physics, or others.
